WHAT:
Meet us at the Capitol to fix our upside down tax code! Join Invest in Washington Now, Balance our Tax Code and fellow activists on Monday, February 17th for a day of action.
We’ll be reminding state legislators that they must keep working to find progressive revenue options and avoid cuts to important programs like healthcare, housing, and education.
We’ll create a community quilt with key messaging and imagery; the art we make together will serve as a strong visual representation of the broad support for progressive revenue. We’ll also be crafting signs to leave with all 147 legislators so that the need to fix our upside down tax code stays top of mind for them throughout this long session, and we can’t do that without you.
When we come together, we win.
