Attend your local town hall to speak up for the Millionaires Tax!

As legislators begin their local town halls this month, we’re showing up to support the Millionaires Tax (SB 6346). Proposals for a Millionaires Tax would raise nearly $3.5 billion in annual revenue by taxing just mega-millionaires and billionaires a modest 9.9% on annual income over $1 million.

Take a look at the info below to find your legislative district’s town hall information. We’ve gathered all the important details here, along with sample questions for you to ask and Zoom backgrounds for virtual town halls.

2026 Legislative Town Halls

Be sure to thank your Senators who voted AYE for the Millionaires Tax (HB 6346)! Some questions you can ask your Representatives:

• For too long, the wealthiest people in Washington have gotten away with paying less than they truly owe in taxes. We have a chance to fix this and fund education, health care, childcare, and other important programs. Are you going to ask the wealthy to pay what they owe by voting for the Millionaires Tax?

• As a business owner, I know that childcare is essential so that working families have a space to send children for safe and happy learning. Will you vote for the Millionaires Tax so that we can fund childcare?

• State cuts to health care, child care, and education will mean higher costs for working families like mine. We can lower costs for people and improve public schools if the wealthy pay their fair share. Will you join us in supporting a Millionaires Tax with your vote to make this possible?
