The historic Millionaires Tax would:
Tax annual earnings over $1 million at 9.9%
Raise more money for education and health care
Apply to only 30,000 (less than 1%), the wealthiest in Washington
The House version of SB 6346 also includes:
Expansion of the Working Families Tax Credit, putting cash in families’ wallets
Historic tax relief for WA's small businesses
Free school lunch and breakfast for all Washington students, helping them stay focused and in school
A sales tax break for working people by exempting over-the-counter medicine, diapers, hygiene and grooming products
Increases in child care and early learning funding
